A fair was held on 13th of August 2023 in aid of the church construction fund. It was organized by the parishioners in Vishakawatta. They got both the material and financial support from the Kanuwana parish people. Many guests were invited to witness the event. There were several stalls to sell fresh vegetables, fruits, groceries, snacks, fresh juice, ice creams, plastic items, plants and many more. Even they have organized few fun games specially for the children and younger people. Overall the event was not just a place to buy groceries but an immersive sensory experience that have brought together people, flavors, and traditions.
