About Church

Saint Maximilian Kolbe is the Patron Saint of; Drug addicts, Journalists, Prisoners and the Pro-Life Movement.

Church at Vishakawatte, (Parish of Kanuwana – Archdiocese of Colombo) is the only Catholic Church in Sri Lanka dedicated to the Saint Maximilian Kolbe.

Sunday Mass Service

Sunday 6.30AM

A sacred liturgical service where people gather for worship, communion, and spiritual nourishment, centered around the Eucharist and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Novena Mass Service

Thursday 5.30PM

A special prayer program to engage in prayer, reflection, and devotion to seek the intercession of St. Maximilian Kolbe.

Sunday School

Sunday 8.00AM

A program in which children gather to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith under the guidance of dedicated teachers and catechists.
